The Department of Ophthalmology at UCSF is studying eye diseases through randomized controlled trials and large epidemiological studies. They need a research data analyst to support these studies by managing and analyzing large datasets, including electronic health records, to contribute to the understanding and prevention of blindness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with statistical software languages (R).
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of database creation and management.
- Experience working with large administrative or electronic health record datasets
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with reproducible and transparent research methods and tools

- Graduate degree in data science, epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, public health or related field and two to three years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
