Cleveland Clinic is looking to solve the problem of providing patient-first healthcare by applying statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling methodologies to develop algorithms and conduct data analytics in the field of urology and kidney medicine.
Requirements
- Proficient with programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, MATLAB or similar
- Experience with data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning
- Experience as a Research Data Scientist or in a closely related analytical role

- Experience with data validation, investigation and testing of hypotheses
- Experience with data transformation and process enhancement
Responsibilities
- Perform basic data analysis to include data validation, investigation and testing of hypotheses.
- Assist Principal Investigator with transforming data to support the investigation of research questions.
- Build basic predictive models and other mathematical or statistical models as needed by using modeling tools.
- Utilize process enhancement opportunities to improve the efficiency of data pulling, reporting, programming, operation, etc.
- Work to curate and process complex clinical and biological data
- May communicate or present research findings.
- Identify technical issues and manage resolution for analytics programs.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field and two years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning OR a Master’s or PhD degrees in related field
- Communication and presentation skills to summarize data for Principal Investigators and other research audiences
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
