IDeaS is looking for an R&D Intern to work on new product development, focusing on creating leading revenue management solutions that accelerate client growth through revenue optimization.
Requirements
- Enrolled in Ph.D. program in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field
- As part of Ph.D. program, experience conducting research is preferred
- Interest in revenue science, general forecasting and estimation concepts
- Excellent ability to identify and proactively solve problems (data modeling)
- Comfortable with one or more programming languages (Java, Python or SAS)
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing data; identifying opportunities and problems; designing solutions and implementing those solutions
- Communicating and presenting work to various audiences to explain functionality and/or benefit
- Producing required technical documentation

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
