MED Institute is looking to apply engineering principles to research and develop various medical devices, based on client needs.
Requirements
- BS (or advanced degree) in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Aided Engineering, Biology or Physiology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to innovate in the development of novel concepts and creating solutions to technical problems with an eye toward providing practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate the completion of deliverables and tasks.
- Understand the intellectual property process and how it is established, harvested, characterized, and protected.
Responsibilities
- application of engineering principles to research and develop various medical devices, based on client needs
- completing project deliverables and tasks to support the evaluation of medical devices and creation of novel medical device concepts
- Interact with management, technical leadership and clients to plan, complete, analyze and report results of experiments, tests, prototype development, literature reviews, etc.
- Assure that project deliverables and tasks are technically excellent and completed in a timely fashion.
- Document deliverables.
- Assure that appropriate documentation is kept detailing project history (reports, laboratory notebooks, invention disclosures, scientific literature, meeting notes, deliverables, etc.).
- Maintain and develop the technical capabilities necessary to provide technical solutions to clients.
