Applied Intuition is looking for a Research Engineer to conduct world-class research for autonomous systems, specifically for autonomous driving and general robotics, to develop cutting-edge models at scale and improve their vehicle intelligence solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end autonomy, vision-language-action model, reinforcement learning, multi-view perception and ML planner
- Experience with training with large-scale data and ML models and/or applying language modality in AV stacks
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on architecture design, robustness, safety, and language modality incorporation for our differentiable stack
- Work closely with Research Scientists and interns on high-quality research publications to submit to top-tier conferences
- Collaborate with our ADAS stack engineering team to test and deploy end-to-end algorithms for mass production vehicles
- Collaborate with our simulation team to deploy data-driven generation algorithms for highly efficient and automated tools

- We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.

- Strong research skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects
- Passion for building and shipping customer-focused software frameworks or tools
- MSc or PhD in machine learning and computer vision with autonomy and robotics applications or closely related field
