Ataraxis AI is looking to solve the problem of selecting optimal treatments for cancer patients by developing and deploying AI-native tools. The goal is to improve the accuracy of existing diagnostic tests and expand testing to more patients, ultimately changing how cancer is treated.
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of core machine learning concepts.
- Excellent knowledge of the foundations of (bio)statistics, with practical experience applying it to real-world data.
- Excellent skills in Python, Jupyter and NumPy.
- Proficiency in data visualization and communicating complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience in a “data scientist” or “data analyst” role.
- Prior publications in academic conferences or journals.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to preparation of manuscripts for high-impact journals and conferences, including drafting methods, results, and figures.
- Develop pipelines for data preprocessing, integration, and quality assurance.
- Maintain high standards of scientific documentation to ensure reproducibility and clarity in both internal reports and external publications.
- Build robust model evaluation frameworks and monitor model performance.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
Other
- BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, computational biology, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Excellent scientific writing skills.
