The MRS AI team is looking to revolutionize recommendation systems by leveraging the latest advancements in AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI, to deliver enhanced user experiences across Meta's platforms.
Requirements
- Publications in machine learning, computer vision, NLP, speech
- Experience developing software and executing complex experiments involving large AI models and datasets
Responsibilities
- Lead, collaborate, and execute on research that pushes forward the state of the art in multimodal reasoning and generation research
- Work towards long-term research goals, while identifying intermediate milestones
- Directly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, developing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing results
- Contribute to publications and open-sourcing efforts
- Prioritize research that can be applied to Meta's product development

- play a significant role in healthy cross-functional collaboration
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta
- A PhD in AI, computer science, or related technical fields
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
