Reality Labs at Meta is looking to solve crucial and exciting problems on the web by applying AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent rich perception systems that improve Meta's products and experiences. The goal is to redefine how people work, play, and connect through innovative hardware and software in the metaverse.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence
- Experience developing computer vision algorithms or computer vision infrastructure in C/C++ or Python
- Industry experience working on VLM, LLMs and related topics
- Experience in deep learning and PyTorch
- Experience in language guided vision systems
- Experience contributing to AI Publications
Responsibilities
- Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent rich perception systems that improve Meta's products and experiences
- Develop custom/novel architectures, define use cases, and develop methodology & benchmarks to evaluate different approaches
- Apply in-depth knowledge of how the machine learning system interacts with the other systems around it
- Develop computer vision algorithms or computer vision infrastructure in C/C++ or Python
- Work on VLM, LLMs and related topics
- Experience in deep learning and PyTorch
- Experience in language guided vision systems
Other
- Assist in goal setting related to project impact, AI system design, and ML rigor
- Drive large efforts across multiple teams
- Mentor other AI Engineers and improve the quality of AI work in the broader team
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
