The Research & Exhibitions team needs assistance with research, writing and editing tasks, and curatorial projects.
Requirements
- Knowledge of twentieth-century and contemporary art
- Research skills
- Writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with Google programs
Responsibilities
- Conducting library and archival research
- Compiling lists of comparable works
- Conducting independent research and reviewing catalogues and online resources
- Logging information and manually compiling data sets using Google programs
- Providing a summary and analysis of research findings
- Assisting with exhibition project research
- Maintaining the gallery's reference libraries
Other
- Residency in NY, NJ, or CT
- Availability to work 2-5 days a week in the NY office
- Ability to commit to the Summer internship from June through August
