The Ohio State University is seeking a Research Faculty - IM Medical Oncology to solve the problem of cancer through research, service, and/or teaching or clinical practice.
Requirements
- Advanced degree such as MD, DVM, PharmD, PhD, or MD/PhD
- Postdoctoral fellowship in immunology, immuno-oncology, hematology, cancer genomics and/or pathobiology
- Experience with administration of funded research
- Understanding of key components of grant writing
- Experience with scientific reporting and publication
- Knowledge of immuno-oncology and cancer research
- Familiarity with research methodologies and techniques
Responsibilities
- Leading or working with shared resource laboratories
- Writing scientific reports and publishing in scientific, peer-reviewed journals
- Obtaining funding in support of research
- Administering funded research
- Conducting basic and translational research in immuno-oncology
- Developing and implementing research initiatives
- Collaborating with other researchers and faculty members
