The Ohio State University College of Medicine Department of Neurology, Division of Neurogenetics is seeking full-time, tenure-track faculty members to join their growing research team to study neurodegenerative diseases.
Requirements
- Earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study
- Experience with molecular, cellular, neurobiological, genetic, and/or genomic approaches
- Knowledge of high-throughput screening for biomarker discovery and functional genomics
- Experience with big data and machine learning methods
- Experience with human and/or animal experimental models
- Experience with bioinformatics and machine learning approaches
- Experience with translational research
Responsibilities
- Employ molecular, cellular, neurobiological, genetic, and/or genomic approaches to studying neurodegenerative diseases
- Integrate cutting-edge approaches and techniques using human and/or animal experimental models
- Use high-throughput screening for biomarker discovery and functional genomics
- Apply big data and machine learning methods
- Collaborate on research projects and publications
- Pursue investigator-initiated research
- Participate in multidisciplinary research, community engagement, and educational initiatives
