IDeaS is looking to solve revenue management and optimization problems for its clients through innovative solutions and products, and is seeking an R&D Intern to contribute to new product development
Requirements
- Enrolled in Ph.D. program in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field
- Experience conducting research is preferred
- Interest in revenue science, general forecasting and estimation concepts
- Excellent ability to identify and proactively solve problems (data modeling)
- Comfortable with one or more programming languages (Java, Python or SAS)
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analyzing data; identifying opportunities and problems; designing solutions and implementing those solutions
- Communicating and presenting work to various audiences to explain functionality and/or benefit
- Producing required technical documentation

- Enrolled in Ph.D. program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement stated above
