Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Research Intern to help pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare by designing, implementing, and evaluating novel AI/ML algorithms for medical image analysis.
Requirements
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras in addition familiarity with image processing in Python and C++
- Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision.
- Experience with medical imaging modalities and relevant data formats (e.g., DICOM, NIfTI).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate novel AI/ML algorithms for medical image analysis, including segmentation, classification, registration, and anomaly detection.
- Focus on making AI solutions more interpretable, robust, and efficient for integration into clinical workflows.

- Currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at a foreign degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the United States OR Has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her exchange visitor program start date.
