Applied Intuition is looking for a Research Intern to conduct world-class research for autonomous systems, specifically in areas like autonomous driving and general robotics, to develop cutting-edge models and accelerate the adoption of safe, AI-driven machines.
Requirements
- Current PhD (or MSc) studies in machine learning, computer vision and graphics, robotics
- hardware and software for various robots
- data collection equipment and teleoperation
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on one or more of the following topics with applications to autonomous driving and general robotics

- Vision-language-action model, reinforcement learning

- World foundation model, 3D/4D reconstruction and novel view synthesis

- End-to-end autonomy, traffic simulation

- Robotic foundation model, real-to-sim-to-real, deformable object simulation

- Human and object motion capture, retargeting and teleoperation
- Work closely with the Research Scientists and Engineers on high quality research publications for submission to top-tier conferences

- Strong research skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects
- Passion for next-generation, scalable autonomy and robotics
- We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.
- The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
