Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Some publications at top theoretical CS or ML conferences (STOC, FOCS, SODA, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.) or top journals
Responsibilities
- Advance research in differentially private synthetic data generation
- Design innovative algorithms
- Apply algorithms to high-impact real-world projects
- Collaborate with other Research Interns and researchers
- Present findings
- Contribute to the vibrant life of the community
- Put inquiry and theory into practice
Other
- Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program
- Research Interns are expected to be physically located in their manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the duration of their internship
- Submit a minimum of two reference letters for this position as well as a cover letter and any relevant work or research samples
