Requirements
- Strong track record of research in one or more areas of computer vision, computer graphics and machine learning
- Highly competent in algorithms and programming
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
- Publications in top-tier venues such as SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR
- High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Experience with computer vision and machine learning
- Experience with building web applications
Responsibilities
- Build new features that touch hundreds of millions of people around the world
- Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems
- Build the next-generation monetization platform to help millions of customers grow their businesses
- Work with your mentor to deliver product features and make engineering improvements
- Build world-class web applications that combine usability, accessibility, elegance, performance, and maintainability
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, machine learning and other related fields
- Work with Research Scientists to deliver advanced technologies to TikTok products
Other
- Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
- Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
- Ability to work independently and collaborate well with team members
