Microsoft Research New England’s Biomedical Machine Learning Group is working at the intersection of machine learning (ML), biology, and healthcare to solve complex challenges in areas such as cancer biology, precision medicine, neurodegenerative disease, medical imaging, generative models of genomes, molecules, proteins, and chemical reactions, computational immunology, and statistical genetics.
Requirements
- Accepted or currently enrolled in a PhD program in a field related to machine learning, statistics, biology, or healthcare (e.g., Computer Science, Biomedical Informatics, Biomedical Engineering/Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Computational Biology, and other related STEM fields).

Other
- Research Interns are expected to be physically located in their manager’s Microsoft worksite location for the duration of their internship.
- In addition to the qualifications below, you’ll need to submit a minimum of two reference letters for this position as well as a cover letter and any relevant work or research samples.
