Sony AI is looking for research interns to investigate and apply novel algorithms related to the generation/editing/restoration of video, sound, and/or 3D visual geometry (including 3D human motion), targeting a publication in a top-tier conference/journal. The technologies developed in the internship will have the potential to be applied to film/game/music production in entertainment studios around the world.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge/expertise related to generative AI applications such as deep generative modeling, computer vision, audio signal processing.
- Analytical and programming skills in deep learning with machine learning tools (PyTorch, etc.).
- Experience in research communities, including having published papers at conferences, e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, etc.
- Enrolled in a relevant Ph.D. program.

Other
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The target hourly rate for this internship is $50.00 per hour.
