The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking innovative thinkers to build the framework that will carry the Bank into the future. The Research department needs interns to assist in producing academically respected economic research, monitoring and reporting on regional and national economic trends, crafting public communications on economic issues, modeling complex economic systems, analyzing data, and evaluating economic information to support monetary policy responsibilities.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of econometrics and/or statistics packages such as Stata, MATLAB, R, or Python.
- Prior research experience in economics strongly preferred.

Other
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in economics or a closely related field, such as finance, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
- Should have at least one semester left to complete in school.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or green card holder.
- This position requires access to confidential supervisory information and/or FOMC information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law.
- Our interns will work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio location.
