PicnicHealth is seeking to solve the business problem of making clinical trials faster, more efficient, and more affordable by leveraging AI and a patient-centered approach, moving away from legacy, services-heavy models. Specifically, this role supports a study into Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) to improve understanding of disease progression, treatment impact, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Prior experience administering structured lupus disease activity assessment - especially SLEDAI-2K and/or PGA - is strongly preferred.
- Remote video (tele) visit experience
- Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and SLEDAI-2K/PGA certification prior to study start
- Tech savvy: Able to quickly and fluently learn new systems and software
Responsibilities
- Administer cSLEDAI-2K and cPGA assessments via secure video call, following study-specific protocols and scripts
- Document assessment results promptly and accurately in the study platform (within 2 hours of visit).
- Log in to scheduled appointments at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time
- Communicate any technical issues or participant questions to the PicnicHealth team so they can support, triage, and resolve
- Provide feedback to the PicnicHealth team on processes and technology, to ensure continuous improvements for participants and research goals success

- NPs or PAs looking to supplement their hours
- Strong clinical background in rheumatology
- Commitment to keep NP/PA license active, unencumbered, and in good standing and to provide renewed license details to PicnicHealth for documentation
- Maintain a professional approach for all participant communications, with a particular focus on empathy, kindness, and patience
- Manage own hours effectively, taking required breaks and submitting timesheets monthly
- Excellent Bedside Manner: Possesses strong phone/video contact handling skills and active listening abilities
- Strong Rapport-Builder: Quickly develops trust and engagement from participants while working independently in a remote environment
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly
