The Baldridge lab is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join our growing team in the Division of Genetics and Genomic Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics to study the genetic basis of rare disorders and use cutting edge functional genomics techniques to test the effects of clinically observed variants.
Requirements
- Molecular biology, cell biology, imaging/microscopy, and/or flow cytometry expertise
- Prior experience in cell biology, molecular biology, or related fields
- Ability to work with cell culture systems
- Genome sequencing and informatics approaches
- High throughput cell-based assays
- Laboratory research
- Recordkeeping
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high throughput cell-based assays to study mechanisms of disease pathogenesis
- Use genome sequencing and informatics approaches to improve clinical care
- Work in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards
- Provide standard care to research animals
- Wear protective equipment
- Conduct molecular biology, cell biology, imaging/microscopy, and/or flow cytometry
- Work with cell culture systems
