The Penn State Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing is seeking a Research Project Manager to manage multiple funded projects focused on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) care in assisted living settings.
Requirements
- Must have exemplary computer skills in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with database management; REDCap experience preferred.
- Excellent effective communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Individuals with a professional background in healthcare, including one that involved work with/related to older adults, are preferred.
- It is also highly preferred that candidates have prior experience with managing funded projects.
- Experience with IRB application submissions and reporting.
- Experience with data analysis and management
Responsibilities
- Leading the recruitment of clinical sites and communicating with the study team, stakeholders, and research participants.
- Assisting with hiring and training project staff and providing guidance and supervision for successful execution of project activities.
- Assisting with scheduling clinical study procedures and project staff work hours.
- Tracking study progress and preparing progress reports.
- Scheduling and leading research team meetings.
- Ensuring project activities are in compliance with the regulatory standards of funding agencies.
- Building data collection tools in REDCap, managing and analyzing incoming data, and maintaining data protection and quality.

- Bachelor's Degree; No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
- Must comply with vaccination requirements for in-person site visits, as needed.
- Must be able to travel to study sites located around the Pennsylvania towns and cities of State College, Harrisburg, Hershey, and other nearby locations as needed
