The Ohio State University's Department of Radiology is seeking a Research Scientist to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative translational diagnostic medical imaging technology.
Requirements
- develops, implements, and validates innovative techniques and methodologies for reconstruction and processing of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data
- plans, designs and executes advanced research experiments
- conducts statistical analysis, evaluation and interpretation of data
- assists with raw data archival and curation
- develops new and supports on-going collaborative research opportunities
- assists other investigators by contributing technical expertise
- plans and writes manuscripts, articles, abstracts and research reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals
Responsibilities

Other
- writes and submits grant proposals of original research in the area of biomedical imaging as Principal Investigator (PI), co-investigator or collaborator to obtain external funding support of research
- participates in supervision and training of junior research staff, residents, and undergraduate & graduate students
