Long Island University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow/Research Scientist to advance the understanding of drug-induced liver injury and contribute to the development of safer and more effective medications through computational biology and biophysics.
Requirements
- Proficiency with one or more programming language such as Python, Matlab or C++
- Proficiency in systems biology/computational biology/computational chemistry/bioinformatics a plus (BIOVIA, Discovery Studio, CompuCell3D or equivalent)
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Systems Biology, Applied Mathematics, Biophysics, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics or similar
- Proven track records (publication in top-tier journals, awards, patents, white papers)

- Collaborating with experts from various fields to advance our understanding of drug-induced liver injury

- Presenting analytical results on behalf of the project team to senior leadership

- Managing stakeholders through project execution
