The Ohio State University's Clinical Neuroscience Lab is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and contribute to independent and collaborative research in clinical neuroscience, particularly in the area of mind-body interventions.
Requirements
- Earned a doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Prior research experience
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Proven ability to conduct independent research
- Experience with neuroimaging, cognitive assessment, or intervention trial design
- Expertise in biostatistics
- Familiarity with proposal development and securing external funding
Responsibilities
- Designing and executing studies in clinical neuroscience
- Analyzing results and advancing the scientific mission of the department and the Clinical Neuroscience Lab through publications
- Mentorship, grant development, and active participation in collaborative research activities
- Lab management, student supervision, and strategic planning in coordination with the Lab Director
- Conducting independent research
- Mentoring and supervising graduate students
- Grant writing and research funding
