Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software development.
- M.S. in computer science, information technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related discipline with 1-2 years of experience in software. development and project management.
- Knowledge of software deployment tools, processes and best practices.
- Experience in AI research and development including both knowledge-based AI and generative AI.
- A strong background in the design, development, testing, and fielding of AI software systems.
- Demonstrable knowledge, skills and abilities in computing technology, including programming (Java, Python, databases) and software development (AWS, GIT).
- Ability to navigate and overcome ambiguity to complete tasks.
Responsibilities
- lead the design, development, testing, and fielding of AI cognitive assistants for, intelligent textbooks, interactive learning environments, question answering, smart videos, and social belonging.
- requirements analysis, documentation, and testing with human subjects, and data analysis.
- Adaptive and personalized learning is a major aspect of all these projects.
- lead a team of students who work in small teams including other research scientists and faculty.
