Georgia Tech is seeking an experienced machine learning (ML) researcher to lead the development and deployment of an ML system integrating real-time multi-modal sensor processing, activity recognition, and natural language interaction to pioneer new approaches for advanced interactive AI systems.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
- A Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or related field, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
- A Doctoral degree.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current state of the art in sensor processing, activity recognition, and natural language processing algorithms
- Design, implement, and deploy advanced machine learning systems in Georgia Tech's on-campus smart home test facility
- Evaluate effectiveness of deployed systems and improve/revise as needed
- Collect data from deployed system and make available to the research community in the form of datasets
- Provide high-level expertise, advice, and technology leadership, potentially mentor student researchers
- Interact and collaborate with Institute management, multiple research groups across partner organizations, and other stakeholders
