Boston Scientific is looking to hire a Research Scientist Intern to design and develop implant products for the Cardiac Rhythm Management Diagnostics (CRMDx) group, focusing on technologies that monitor, support diagnosis, and treat irregular heart rhythms, heart failure, and sudden cardiac arrest. The goal is to innovate and create a paradigm shift to solve unmet clinical needs and improve patient care.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Artificial Intelligence and Decision Making (AL/ML)
Responsibilities
- Designing, and testing prototype devices/algorithms to address clinical feedback.
- Analyzing large clinical databases to inform device design and procedural technique.
- Viewing live and recorded clinical procedures and developing test methods to replicate use.
- Creating AI/ML models using real-world data from patients and implantable cardiac devices

- Must graduate between Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
- Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location
- Previous Boston Scientific internship experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
