Meta Reality Labs is looking to advance their pioneering work in neuromotor interfaces by removing the bottlenecks between user intent and action
Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in systems or computational neuroscience, biophysics, physics, electrical engineering (e.g. signal processing, systems theory, control theory), statistics, applied math, computer science, or related fields
- Research-oriented implementation skills, including experience with scientific Python, as evidenced by academic or professional research experience or contributions to open source projects
- Experience with scientific communication tools (jupyter, matplotlib)
- Experience designing experiments and creating new datasets
- Experience working with neural data or other multi-channel timeseries sensor data
- Familiarity with signal processing including real-time signal processing and sensor fusion
- Familiarity with physical simulations of electromagnetic signal propagation, including biophysical simulations
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute cutting-edge applied research to advance neuromotor interface capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering and Human-Computer Interactions (HCI) teams to translate fundamental scientific knowledge into new technology and user experiences
- Use quantitative research methods to define, iterate upon and advance key areas of our research agenda

- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
