Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Research Scientist IV to join their team to contribute to ML hand pose and gesture quality improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning operations, data analysis, and visualization using Python
- Proficiency in data processing libraries in Python, such as pandas, and strong coding skills
- Ability to address data quality issues, both manually and semi-automatically
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills, with the ability to summarize results and identify gaps
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and commands
Responsibilities
- Contribute to ML hand pose and gesture quality improvements through data collection and manual annotation
- Define data collection requirements and produce moderator/participant instructions
- Conduct data quality reviews and quality assurance processes, providing feedback to participants and moderators
- Run machine learning training and evaluation jobs, experimenting with model improvements and conducting failure analyses
- Perform hands-on experiential testing of model gesture quality and provide comprehensive feedback and reports
