Requirements
- PhD in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
- PhD in machine learning or computer science (advantage)
- Relevant experience, such as post-doctoral roles, a proven track record of publications, or deep neural network architectures (advantage)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate models, agents, and software prototypes
- Study current weaknesses in agent capabilities and research ways to improve them
- Report and present research findings and developments, including status and results, clearly and efficiently both internally and externally
- Suggest and participate in team collaborations to meet ambitious research goals
- Collaborate across teams at Google DeepMind to pursue shared research goals
- Work with external collaborators and maintain relationships with relevant research labs and key individuals as appropriate
