Responsibilities
- independently conducts assigned experiments
- performs a variety of molecular, cellular, and biological research techniques and procedures including PCR reactions, gel electrophoresis, assays, cell cultures and Northern and Western analysis
- sorts and processes tissue and blood samples
- tests and evaluates current procedures
- performs routine procedures on lab animals
- records, consolidates and assists with analysis of research results
- assists in evaluating validity of data obtained from experimental procedures
Other
- Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-1 years' relevant experience required
- ability to work with junior research staff, and undergraduate and graduate students
- background check required
- drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process
