Texas A&M University Health Science Center's Department of Primary Care & Rural Medicine needs a Research Specialist to provide expertise in grant reporting, research project management, and dissemination of research findings to support collaborative clinical and educational research projects within the Integrated Behavioral Health Program and the Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency Program.

Responsibilities
- Assists investigators with meeting all grant reporting requirements.
- Assists investigators with the planning and implementation of research projects including data collection.
- Compiles, analyzes, interprets, and reviews data analyses plans.
- Reviews, audits, and maintains data collection including institutional review board maintenance for all projects.
- Collects qualitative and quantitative data and conducts statistical analyses.
- Utilizes summarized results in scientific and/or clientele-oriented presentations and publications.
- Develops and maintains research protocols.
Other
- May have to work on the weekends and/or after normal hours.
- May travel as required.
- Trains undergraduate students, graduate students, medical students, medical residents, and other staff involved in research.
- Oversees research trainees execution of research projects.
