The Veterinary Biosciences Department (Niewiesk Laboratory) at The Ohio State University seeks an experienced Research Technician 2 to conduct research on the development of T cell leukemia in humanized mice after infection with HTLV-1.
Requirements
- experience working with animals

Responsibilities
- conducting research on the development of T cell leukemia in humanized mice after infection with HTLV-1
- be in charge of the breeding colony and interactions with ULAR staff
- conduct animal experiments
- produce or secure reagents necessary for the experiments
- production and testing of virus stocks and antibody preparations
- perform animal inoculations and infections
- perform euthanasia and necropsy

- Bachelor's Degree
- Standing for long periods of time, pushing/pulling/lifting 25 pounds.
