Georgia Tech's Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering is seeking a Research Technician to assist in the design and development of diagnostic devices and assays, contributing to research in areas like Bioelectronics, Micro/Nanofluidics, Infectious Disease, Immunology, Point-of-care Diagnostics, Global Health, Single Cell Analysis and Manipulation, and Cell Engineering.
Requirements
- working knowledge of research lab equipment and support processes and practices.
- skill in data organization, statistical analysis and use of statistical and scientific computer applications.
- Prior research experience in diagnostic assay development
Responsibilities
- Gather, compile and summarize data in conjunction with assigned scientific tests, experiments, etc
- Prepare statistical analyses and maintain related records.
- Operate various equipment used in research studies.
- Participate as directed in experiment design and preparation.
- Participate as directed in preparation of presentations and manuscripts.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.

- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to two years of job related experience
