The Section of Rheumatology at The University of Chicago is seeking to advance its research in understanding immune states in autoimmune and other kidney diseases by utilizing high-dimensional imaging and advanced AI analytics. The role will contribute to this by performing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting research projects.
Requirements
- Experience with microscopy.
- Knowledge of research techniques or methods relevant to the lab (e.g. tissue sectioning, antibody conjugation, immunofluorescent staining, H&E staining, microscope imaging).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Collects and maintains data and/or specimens for high-dimensional imaging.
- Maintains equipment, including confocal microscope, and supplies.
- Setting up and performing experiments.
- Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project.
- Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens.
- Conducts literature reviews.
- Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
