Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a Research & Technology Protection (RTP) and Risk-Based Review Specialist to support Army Futures Command (AFC) DOIS in Austin, Texas. This role provides RTP and risk-based security review services that support the creation, maintenance, and security/intelligence functions of Science & Technology Protection Plans (S&TPPs).
Requirements
- Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience supporting security, intelligence, program protection, acquisition intelligence, RTP, S&T protection, risk review, or related mission areas.

- JWICS (where available/accessible)
- Experience supporting S&TPP development, PPP/CPI assessments, and risk review boards
- Familiarity with DoD/Army acquisition, S&T program environments, and security/intelligence coordination processes
Responsibilities
- Support development and sustainment of S&TPPs, including identifying and documenting: Threats, vulnerabilities, and essential technology elements
- Inputs from functional and technical decompositions
- Recommend threat mitigation strategies to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Assist the organization in assessing S&T efforts to determine whether they qualify as fundamental research.
- Document and submit intelligence requirements related to organizational technologies; prioritize requests based on S&T criticality and coordinate through AFC processes to build a body of finished intelligence products for senior leader awareness.
- Monitor S&T efforts transitioning to Programs of Record and support protection activities required for transition, including: Program Protection Plan (PPP) support
- Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or a related field
- Substitution: An additional five (5) years of job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
