The Ohio State University's Department of Radiology is seeking a Research Senior Associate to design, execute, and manage research projects focused on medical imaging technology and applications within a biomedical science research laboratory.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Considerable experience in a biological/health research capacity is required
- A Doctoral degree in an appropriate biological/health science field is desirable
Responsibilities
- conceptualizes, designs and executes complex biomedical imaging experiments
- plans and executes advanced imaging protocols and procedures
- plans, coordinates and oversees processing and analysis of data
- analyzes and interprets research imaging data
- develops and implements new and/or revised research imaging methodology and techniques
- plans and tests experimental imaging techniques, and image analysis methods
- develops and establishes research controls, criteria and standards
Other
- Master’s Level or Medical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires successful completion of a background check
- qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
- Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
