The Division of Infectious Diseases at The Ohio State University is seeking a Researcher 3 with expertise in M. tuberculosis and/or other pathogens of public health significance to manage research staff and laboratory operations.
Requirements
- expertise in the area of M. tuberculosis and/or other pathogens of public health significance
- general biosafety level (BSL)- 2 and/or BSL-3 laboratory experience
- experience in flow cytometry
- cell culture
- purification of organelles (e.g., mitochondria, etc.)
- experience in proper mouse handling
Responsibilities
- management of research staff
- general biosafety level (BSL)- 2 and/or BSL-3 laboratory experience
- experience in laboratory management to provide support to the laboratory members
- skilled in ordering supplies and equipment
- interacting with vendors, as needed
- flow cytometry
- cell culture
