Verizon is looking to solve the problem of expanding its customer base and increasing sales by hiring a Retail Sales Associate to work in the mobile department at a National Retailer, with the goal of unlocking the full potential and sales success of the team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Experience working in a commission-based environment.
- Demonstrated experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
- Customer service experience.
- Knowledge of cutting-edge technology.
- Ability to use simple and intuitive tech solutions.
Responsibilities
- Ability to approach customers who aren’t necessarily shopping in the mobile area to share the latest promotion Verizon is offering.
- Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network.
- Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
- Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution.
- Close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
- Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
- Regularly interacts with internal and external partners on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Other
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
- Openness to pick up and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.
