Cetera Financial Group is looking to support initiatives focused on growing the retirement services by filling a Retirement Plan Solution Data Analyst role.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of advanced Excel experience (x-lookup, shortcut keys, macros etc.)
  • Proficiency with the technology platform(s) used by the Retirement Plan Solutions (RPS) team.
  • Experience with employer sponsored retirement plans.
  • Experience with insurance and/or annuities
  • Series 65, 66, 7
  • 3+ years’ experience with direct business and/or advisory operations and customer service
  • 3+ years of advanced Excel experience (v-lookup, shortcut keys, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve data through discrepancy reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and data hygiene.
  • Assist in data reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
  • Proactively identify and address potential data issues, performing detailed research as needed to resolve issues or improve processes.
  • Develop an understanding of agreement structures and processes to manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Provide program support, including onboarding of new advisors and record-keepers/vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve advisor-related escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with advisors, RK’s and other vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of financial services experience
  • Strong communication skills with advisors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in written format, including the ability to document decisions made effectively by program management, with supporting rationale.
  • Natural curiosity with respect to how things work, and why, and how they fit together.
