Requirements
- Enrolled in a curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university program in one of the following fields: Engineering
- Familiarity with software tools used in daily operations
- Ability to perform load analysis, fault current calculations, and distributed generation studies
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Ability to draft and complete related tasks
Responsibilities
- Gain experience and exposure to practical applications within the utility industry
- Perform a variety of projects that have specific instructions and expected results
- Complete day-to-day tasks as well as a project that will last the duration of the assignment
- Present to a team of company employees the results of the project and overall summary of the experience
- Gain hands-on experience with load and distributed generation interconnections
- Participate in site visits to substations, inspections, and field verifications
- Support day-to-day activities including data gathering, analysis, drafting, and other related tasks

- Must be a temporarily employed college student in an accredited four-year institution of higher learning
- Must be offered a work-study program designed to give college students practical work experience in their field of study
- Must be able to work under close supervision
- Must be able to report the use of any medication that may impair their ability to perform the job in a safe manner
