The Portfolio Credit Risk Management department needs a Risk Data Analyst II to support diverse projects and improve existing processes.
Requirements
- Intermediate experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel)
- Experience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables
- Intermediate experience presenting findings from large datasets in a clear, actionable way
- Understanding of SQL, SSIS and database concepts
- Understanding of banking concepts
- Aptitude for learning new technology
Responsibilities
- Access Analytical Data Store or other data repositories to meet the reporting needs of various customers within the Bank.
- Proposes improvements to existing processes, obtains approval, completes documentation and implements upgrades.
- Completes assigned projects, which may be individual or team projects and include acquiring new data sources, defining/documenting transformations required to load, writing load scripts and testing.
- Understand business unit reporting and analytical needs and translate business questions into analytical tasks that help drive strategic decisions.
- Manages a pipeline of data and process related projects, identifying and elevating road blocks and executing within designated time frames.
- Serves as the point of contact to internal customers for ad hoc extracts and support for assigned areas of responsibility.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in related field required
- 3+years of related experience in Banking, Data Analytics, Data Management or similar field
- Excellent communication skills to keep manager, team and customers apprised of project statuses
- Independent problem solving, adaptability to changing priorities, a sense of urgency, on-time delivery
