MercyOne North Iowa is looking to hire a Cardiac Cath Lab RN Intern to improve the health of their communities and provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
Graduate of a program in professional nursing
Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa
No experience required, on the job training provided
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Basic life support certification (BLS) required
Responsibilities
Attend all lectures, demonstrations, or other presentations
Perform any and all duties now and later assigned by MercyOne
Perform such other duties as are customarily performed by one holding such a position in other settings
Abide by MercyOne's rules, regulations, and practices, including those concerning work schedules, paid time off
Participate in on-site training and practical experience in the Cath Lab
Learn by watching and doing, and perform duties under the supervision of experienced Cath Lab staff
Provide high-quality patient care and support to the Cath Lab team
Other
Full-time employment commitment for 18 months after completing the training program
Repayment plan required if employment is ended prior to fulfilling the employment commitment
Ability to work day shift, 40 hours per week
High school diploma or equivalent required
