Michael Baker International is seeking a Roadway / Highway Intern to assist with various technical duties and projects within their Civil Engineering team, contributing to the firm's long-standing expertise in shaping America's highway network.
Requirements
- MicroStation / Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD software experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
- Assist project managers and engineers with various tasks.
- Draft details and make MicroStation / Open Roads Designer and/or AutoCAD revisions.
- Work under supervision of a project manager or a senior level team member.
- Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation.
Other
- Enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of some secondary completed coursework in students’ field of study.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
