Medtronic is entering the market of Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) and needs to quickly deploy its ground-breaking robotic assisted surgical therapies to patients, surgeons, and hospitals in several countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The Surgical Robotics Utilization Team manages all aspects of system installation, start-up, customer training, account analysis, and optimization of the robotic program, requiring full-time support for successful integration.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within a clinical environment or working with Medtronic Robotic products / procedures
- 12-18 months clinical selling experience in an operating room environment
- Knowledge and experience of operating rooms and surgery procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to operate from idea generation and strategy development through detailed implementation and results in delivery.
- Understanding the impact of quality and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical, excellent interpersonal and research skills.
- Familiarity with hospital workflows and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments.
Responsibilities
- Meet with the robotic program stakeholders and develop program goals and metrics for HUGO™ RAS-system.
- Develop a surgeon training plan, coordinate attendance at Medtronic’s off-site training and arrange for proctored cases post-training as needed.
- Develop a training plan to support staff to include attendance at a Medtronic off-site training class and support staff through their learning curve.
- Support the technology adoption by attending to cases during a surgeon and staff member’s learning sessions.
- Cooperate with Medtronic field service engineer (FSE) and the hospital staff to prepare the operating room to host the HUGO™ RAS-system.
- Track milestones to demonstrate the value delivered for the pilot site.
Other
- The candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region.
- A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
- Utilize change management techniques to engage clinical stakeholders and attain buy-in
- Coach hospitals’ staff to promote skill transfer and achieve self-sufficiency in operational excellence
- Ability to integrate a customer team and coach it to continuously improve its performance.
- Experience in change management with the ability to standardize process optimization and change management activities into a reproducible package that could be deployed in different places by different people.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to relocate to a major implementation site is required
- Willingness to travel throughout your country (>75%).
