Afinitas is looking to solve the problem of efficiently manufacturing pipe and precast concrete equipment, forming systems and concrete accessories used to build critical transportation, water and utility infrastructure systems.
Requirements
- Prior forklift and operator experience a plus.
- Beginning level experience in production welding or robotic welding.
- Basic mathematics skills and be able to read a measuring tape.
- Ability to use welding equipment or the ability to learn welding procedures.
- Ability to operate light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
- Ability to read and interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints.
- Ability to set up equipment including jigs and the loading of the raw material
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate robotic welds in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Adjust machine setting to complete tasks according to specifications and production demands.
- Operation of light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
- Must be able to use welding equipment or the ability to learn welding procedures.
- Sets up equipment including jigs and the loading of the raw material that are needed in the manufacturing process.
- Reads and interprets machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tooling requirements.
- Maintains equipment and performs daily inspections of equipment.
