Agri-Fab is looking for a Welder to operate Robotic Welders and perform manual welding tasks to ensure the quality and production of fabricated metal products.
Requirements
- Level 2 welding certification: Groove Horizontal ¼” plates (bend test)
- Accurately adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides.
- Verifies parts using work instructions.
- Successfully completes training or demonstrates proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Produces accurate results when effectively using precision measuring instruments.
- Operates automatic welding machine and be able to use basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, tape measure and micrometers).
- Effective use of appropriate basic hand tools.
Responsibilities
- Operates Robotic Welder and repairs welds as needed.
- Sets up and operates manual or semi-automatic MIG welding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
- Performs basic equipment maintenance and daily safety checks as prescribed (changing tips, nozzles, and using nozzle dip).
- Operates automatic welding machine and be able to use basic hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, tape measure and micrometers).
- Visually inspects product for defects and product errors.
- Manually loads, unloads, and adjusts placement in the machine of material and work pieces to be processed.
- Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating.

- May assist in training lower level welders
- Able to make simple repairs to non-conforming product.
- Meets or exceeds production rates and quality standards.
- Assures pieces and material received for processing and removed after processing are tagged with correct count and identification number, without multiple tags.
- Maintains work area.
