Steel Craft is seeking a Robotic Welder Operator to join their team, to operate robotic welding systems and ensure precision and quality in their manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
- Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in production welding position
- Must obtain necessary weld certifications
- Must possess proficiency in math (adding, subtracting, converting decimals, and fractions)
- Must possess proficiency in measurement skills (tape measure, protractor, height gauge, and caliper)
- Must possess proficiency in geometry (angles, radius, circumference, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
Responsibilities
- Operate robotic welding systems to fabricate and assemble metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
- Adjust machine settings and monitor weld quality
- Perform inspections using precision measuring tools
- Conduct basic equipment maintenance and report issues
- Accurately log job and quality data in ERP systems
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet customer specifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas
- Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level
