Requirements
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow or PyTorch)
- Proficiency in data science techniques for model training and evaluation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker for deploying AI solutions
- Experience with NVIDIA Jetson edge AI compute platform
- Previous hands-on experience with both hardware (e.g., robot arms, vision systems, microcontrollers, sensors) and software (e.g., Python, C++, ROS2)
- Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., Isaac Sim, Gazebo) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of robotic systems and AI models.
- Support integration of hardware components (sensors, actuators, embedded systems) with software frameworks.
- Contribute to simulation and real-world testing using tools such as Isaac Sim, ROS2, or similar platforms.
- Update and maintain test setups in the lab to ensure consistent and reliable experimentation.
- Gather and curate training data for AI models, including sensor calibration and annotation tasks.
- Contribute to the development of new software tools that enhance robotic perception and control.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
Other
- Currently pursuing a Masters degree in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
